I appear regularly on radio and TV as an ‘expert’ on all sorts
of matters psychological.
I have:
- trained with the BBC as a radio reporter (1990);
- made regular features for Woman’s Hour, You and Yours, Does
He Take Sugar
The World Service (Topical Tapes, etc.,) from 1990 to 2000.
Made a half hour feature
for Radio 4 “What kind of lord this be?’ in 1993 (Producer,
Mohini Patel);
- been an ‘agony aunt’ on Liberty Radio on ‘The
Healing Hour’ for nearly two years,
working with David Hamilton and Charlie Jordan, etc.;
- been a regular ‘agony aunt’ on LBC radio, working with
Tessa Dunlop, Caroline
Faraday, etc.;
- been a regular ‘agony aunt’ on Talk Sport, on the Mike
Dickin show in particular;
- broadcast regularly on a wide range of national local radio stations,
especially BBC
Radio Scotland (Gary Robertson Show);
- worked with PR agencies as a radio ‘expert’ discussing
the psychological aspects of
particular campaigns and products;
- broadcast as a ‘team’ with other experts, agony uncles
and aunts (Liberty with Bob
Griffin on ‘The Healing Hour’;
- been an ‘expert’ on Radio Five Live (Nicky Campbell
Show, After Hours and Night Talk),
BBC 2 Steve Wright and Jimmy Young, London Live, London Talkback Radio,
GLR (Diana
Luke, Emma Freud, Janice Long), IRN, James Whale, Pete Murray (LBC),
Radio London
(Robbie Vincent), ABC and 2RE (Australia), and many other radio outlets.
